H2000 Plus Service Project

During the season of Lent, St. Luke is participating in the H2000 Plus Safe Water Project!

What is H2000 Plus? H2000 Plus is a service project here at St. Luke that runs from Ash Wednesday to Palm Sunday. Our goal is to raise funds for clean water wells in countries that do not have access to fresh water. Through the “Safe Water Project,” a partnership with faith-based nonprofit ministries Water Missions International and Water to Thrive, Lutherans all over South Carolina have raised funds for clean water wells in several Tanzanian villages.

How can I help? Water bottles will be available in the Fellowship Hall and Gathering Area. Use these bottles to collect loose change over the next month. If you do not keep a lot of change on hand and feel like contributing, you can simply write a check to St. Luke Lutheran Church and list Safe Water H2000 on the memo line. Please turn in your water bottle by Sunday, April 5th.
