LCY - November

Our Youth finished another month of assisting with our largest Trunk or Treat to date. October had us also visiting the DEFY trampoline park, where we had 19 youth jump and play games until the adults were just tired from watching. We have an equally busy November ahead but are now making plans for our Christmas Caroling Tour. We need your help identifying those shut-ins that might like a caroling visit. Please contact the church office and leave the names AND addresses, then we will do our best to visit as many as we can.

We would also like to make sure everyone knows that our Youth group is for any youths from 7th through the 12th grade to join whether they or their parents attend our church. If you know of a teenager in search of a good time and fellowship in a Christian environment, please encourage them to come one Sunday evening. Like many of our other outreach ministries, we wish to serve the underserved, and that certainly includes the Youth.

Lastly, many of our current and former LCY are assisting with the Children’s Christmas program again this year. They are taking time out of their teenage lives to give back. So be sure to look for our biggest little people this year during the Children’s Christmas program.

God’s peace, Lee Daugherty, Youth Committee, Chair
