Lutheran Men in Mission - October 2019

When Lutheran Men heard Tommy Folk, Jr. and Tommy, III were cooking for our September meeting, we quickly scheduled the relatively new director of Mercy Medicine, Wayne Jackson, to be our speaker for the evening. Mr. Jackson was formerly in charge of Regency Hospital and is well versed in gastrointestinal issues. You could hear a huge sigh of relief when Sallie walked through the kitchen door with an apron and a recipe for Frogmore Stew in hand. It was noted Sallie's recipe did not include new potatoes. But it could be that she sent Tommy to the grocery store and he was unable to locate any "new" potatoes. We want to thank the Folk family for a delicious meal which was complimented with President Pat's brownies.
