WELCA News - October 2019

So encourage each other to build each other up, just as you are already doing.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Fall…where are you? I have this feeling we will be skipping fall and jumping right into winter. I hope and pray everyone weathered the storm with minimal or no damage.

Please mark your calendar for the Epiphany Conference on October 19th. The fun and festivities will begin at 10:00 AM. There will be a brief meeting with several State WELCA Executive Board members bringing news and greetings from the SC WELCA. Howard and Paula Efird will also have a presentation of the beautiful Chrismons that have made such a presence in our congregation. And of course, Lutheran women cannot meet without eating. We will have a salad and baked potato bar with all the toppings and goodies along with dessert. All women of the congregation are welcomed to attend. Please bring a friend or two. We are very excited about the event and looking forward to the fun and fellowship with our sisters in Christ.

Please make note of some upcoming events. Please let me know if you are interested and I will provide you with additional information.
