Rusty Kehl

Pastor Rusty Kehl is a second career person and a 2016 graduate of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary of Lenoir Rhyne with a Master of Divinity. He accepted the call to Saint Luke Lutheran Church in December of 2020 after serving Immanuel Lutheran Church Greenwood, SC for over four years. Pastor Rusty has been married to Dee Dee Kehl since 1983 and have three children and three grandchildren. He is firm believer in the acceptance of all people that desire to worship and he desires that all people might know the amazing gift of God’s love and grace through Jesus Christ.



Joyce Shaw

Deacon, Director of Music Ministries

Joyce Shaw is Director of Music Ministries at St. Luke where she has served 1969 – 1986 and 1994 – present. Her church music work began in 1963 as organist at Trinity Episcopal Church. Joyce is a graduate of Coker College - 1976, the University of South Carolina – 1993, Trinity Lutheran Seminary 2003, and was commissioned as an Associate in Ministry by ELCA in 2008.

Joyce is the mother of two adult children and one granddaughter. Her interests include gardening, reading, music, and traveling. She has served as a volunteer in several organizations.
