The Shrove Pancake Dinner occurs the Tuesday prior to Ash Wednesday. The Lutheran Men in Mission prepare pancakes and other breakfast items for the congregation.
Faith, Fellowship, and Fun Night is scheduled monthly throughout the summer. The night conisists of food, classes, singing, and activities.
God's Work, Our Hands is a nationwide day of service in September. This event is in conjuction with other churches of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. In previous years, St. Luke members have volunteered in the following capacities: visiting nursing homes, preparing and deliviering treats for local first responders, creating bags of essential items for the homeless, passing out coins and detergent at the laundromat, and packing food for underpriviledged school children.
The Saint Luke Dinner Club is a social gathering that occurs monthly from September to April. These gatherings consists of a meal and fellowship.
The Congregational Birthday Party celebrates the birthdays of all St. Luke members. In September, the Fellowship Committee provides a meal along with 12 cakes to represent each month of the year.
At the end of October, the Learning Committee hosts a Trunk or Treat event that is open to the community. Members are invited to decorate a trunk and participate in passing out candy.
In celebration of the season of Advent, the Learning Committee hosts an Advent Craft Fair for the congregation. The children and youth craft nativity scenes and decorate cookies. The adults work on Chrismons ornaments, Advent wreaths, and angels to be given out to the children at the Christmas Eve service.
Every December, the St. Luke Service Committee hosts a Christmas party for the Lutheran Services Carolinas foster children and their families. Grocery baskets, fast food gift cards as well as gifts are presented to the families.
