June 2022 Minutes
- Pastor Rusty reported that we will have eight new members joining St. Luke. Six will join on June 26th and two will join in mid-July.
- The Vision team held its first meeting with the discussion focused on the youth programs at St. Luke.
- The second Shepherding group contact will be made via telephone calls in the first two weeks of July. Council members will summarize feedback from members and provide it to Gail Fowler by end of July. Gail will present feedback at the August council meeting.
- Proposed changes to times for the Sunday schedule were discussed. Pastor Rusty will send out a letter to all members explaining and discussing the changes prior to the end of June.
- Reviewed the May treasurer’s report. We continue to be in good financial shape. May YTD receipts were $144,286 while expenses were $143,912.
- Approved the use of the sanctuary for the South Florence High School Concert Chorus and Chamber Signers for their annual Christmas concert in early December.
- No Council meeting is planned for July. The next meeting will be on August 21st.
